Guiding in the Twin Cities Metro area and North Central Minnesota

A day on the water we me will be filled conversation about our tactics and current fish patterns. I hope to provide an educational and entertaining day for all experience level anglers. Our outing will include discussion and instruction regarding:

1. •Basic casting and boat side technique. (Novice anglers)
2. •Proper handling, photographing and releasing techniques.
3. •How to read new water.
4. •Lure presentations.
5. •Electronics and Boat Control.
6. •Using experience to determine patterns.
7. •On the water safety.

We will fish in rain, sleet, snow or shine but will exit the water if lightning or severe weather is approaching.

The waters I fish.

I have extensive knowledge of many of the Twin Cities Metro area’s best muskie and bass lakes. For my muskie fishing clients, I will put you on the lake that I consider will give you the best chance at providing action with a chance of a trophy release. The same applies to bass fishing as many of these same lakes offer excellent bass angling opportunities. I also chase muskies on Lake Mille Lacs, some of the muskie lakes north of the metro and even have a secret Lake X or two within a couple hours drive from my home that we can consider for a day trip.

Night fishing for Muskies!

For those of you who can’t get days off during the week and weekends are just too busy, night fishing during the summer and early fall months is an excellent option. . These outing fall under the ½ day rate and typically run 4 to 6 hrs in duration.

Rates.

1. •Full Day (8+ hours) - $300 (includes up to 2 people)
2. •Half Day- (typically 4 to 7 hours) $200 (includes up to 2 people)

Equipment - What I Supply.

My Boat – I run a Ranger Fisherman, which can comfortably fish up to three anglers.

Rods and Reels - I can supply all the tackle needed for our day on the water but clients are encouraged to bring their favorite rods and lures. I can provide digital photos if necessary and video upon request.

What To Bring.

1. •Valid Minnesota fishing license.
2. •Camera.
3. •Hat and polarized sunglasses/sunscreen.
4. •Lunch/Beverages (the option may exist for a sandwich/burger on the lake)
5. •Rain Gear.
6. •Clothing and footwear appropriate for the season and conditions.
7. •Muskies, bass and trout are 100% Catch and Release. (Your trophy will not be released until I’m sure we have excellent photos for possible graphite reproduction mount.)
